Finally started this. 64 really aged like milk. Might not even finish 64 tbh this is really jarring to play. I mainly wanted this for Sunshine and Galaxy anyways. Plus 64 is the only one I’ve already beat, I was 1 when it originally came out so I beat the re-release on DS lol.

64 really should have gotten a full blown remake tho at the very least even if all 3 weren’t remakes.

There’s jus issues that come from
technological problems from the time frame. Same reason OG Crash was harder than the remakes, etc. Any narrow path on 64 is a fairly easy death cause the navigation wasn’t as precise, the camera is garbage, jus lil s*** like that. It’s not the game’s or Nintendo’s fault, it’s jus a product of it’s time and we’re used to so much better at this point, but I jus don’t understand why, if we couldn’t get a full remake, why simple s*** like that couldn’t have been fixed and upgraded in 2020 and instead it was left the exact same. That’s the main reason it feels so dated. You could have kept the soul of the original game while still making basic quality of life upgrades.

Does galaxy get harder? I'm at the bee level and it feels like it's getting boring already. Cool concepts but it feels like almost no challenge and the movement isn't as fun as Odyssey sunshine or 64

No, it doesn’t get that much harder. It’s one of the easiest Mario games out there and has way less movement options than all other 3D Mario games. Don’t know where the high praise comes from for this game. It’s a beautiful game but too many flaws

64 is harder to 100% imo

But I grew up replaying Sunshine a lot so it could just be because of that.

I grew up playing both, but I still think 64 is easier. 64 is shorter as well.

This is my first time 100% Sunshine tho, I never did that as a kid. Maybe thats why I feel like its more difficult than 64.

Just finished Sunshine and so far I’ve loved the first two but I haven’t played Galaxy before and previewing that game the controls and the camera seems pretty ass... is it easy to get used to or is it this annoying consistently

It's crazy how consistent in quality this series is, but also different very game is from the last.
