I feel like everyone who works on a mcu dcu etc. movie, knows a s*** ton about comics, but just don't like or appreciate any of it.

The reason Marvel is so big is because of how much they embrace the comics

Studios were not willing to go all the way with the wackiness of superheroes at all before the MCU

yeah but, i'm talking more emotional conflicts. like they just skipped right over iron man's struggles with alcoholism. I doubt we're going to see much about the x-men being a euphemism for lgtbq people etc. Just feel like theres a ton of s*** that they dont touch that results in a pretty shallow take on the characters imo

gotta be one of the worst takes I've seen on here Feige literally has an encyclopedic knowledge of comics. The fact that he was able string together a coherent entertaining cinematic universe with multitudes of solid adaptations of incredible characters under constraints of profit maximizing studios and making it digestible to general public is a f***ing insane achievement.
