Braves missed their window
Lets go Rays!
Braves missed their window
our window literally just started no one expected us to get as far as we did this year
Dodgers can't lose another World Series right?
If they lose this series they should be banned from the WS

Yep and nobody expected the Nationals to make it that far last year either
The difference between us? We capitalized when we were given the opportunity. Our window is now closed. Scherzer is aging, Strasburg has a horrible injury, Corbin isn't good anymore, Rendon left, and we have one of the oldest lineups in the league with a below average farm system. Sometimes your window sneaks up on you, there's no guarantee you'll be back

i’m happy for y’all but it’s not like that. freeman, d’arnaud and martin were the only important pieces in those playoffs over 30; we’re a young team and this wasn’t our only shot with this core lmao
hope soto reaches mvp form with y’all tho

Soto is already in MVP form, don't think he'll be winning one anytime soon though with us being as bad as we are. Don't see us being good enough for him to win MVP within the next few years
I really think you're underestimating how many things need to go right to win a world series. Our entire run started because of one of the worst fielding errors I have ever seen in a baseball game at any level, and it took some outlier pitching contributions from guys like Patrick Corbin and Anibal Sanchez to keep that run going.
Think of what went right for the Braves this year. All of that will have to go right again + more. What if Ozuna doesn't re-sign? What if d'Arnaud, Duvall, and Swanson regress to their career averages? All of those guys had career years this season. All of that on top of the bullpen being the best in baseball. Do you think it's likely that the Braves have the best offense and the best bullpen in baseball next year?
I agree that you have a good young core, position players and pitchers alike. I don't think that guarantees any world series appearances at all.
This year is for Bean

get a load of unity

but fr
i think that ozuna, duvall, and darnaud stepping up was making up for the lack of depthin the starting pitcher lineup which was a big fiasco we had to deal with
hopefully next year our pitching situation will be less strenuous and we won't have to rely as heavily on runs from those guys

If the Braves re-sign Markakis AGAIN next season
