Right wing media has a deeper propaganda cycle, with a symbiotic relationship with the corporations-politicans-networks that come together to both spoonfeed AND pander to their demographic. The "leftist" media (at least in america) is nowhere near as effective in their tactics as the right is (even at a fringe group level) so I think the Right wing media is worse because their power could lead to very dangerous ideologies being sanitized to the general public.

Well the left in the US more akin to slightly left of Center in Europe's standards which creates a natural divide between actual leftists and the white liberals - as opposed to the republican's conservatives moving closer and closer into the alt right. The most popular "leftist" newtork, CNN, discusses policy through intentionally sensationalized arguments that give viewers more ramblings about dumb obvious s*** rather than the actual events and presenting progressive politics through a corporate filter lens as to never go too far into anti-establishment (example: discussing s*** like confederate statues way more than police reform or predatory loans).

They're bad in many more ways but none as effective or focused as the Right wing media machine.

uhh pretty sure they cover other stuff mate. How often do you watch the news, and which channels? I see channel 9 news almost every night (i hate it) and it does not push identity politics at all. If anything it mostly just pushes ads to the highest bidder, often the big supermarkets. I also see the project sometimes, and that can be pretty left leaning but still pushes LNP bullshit the other half of the time. Even some ABC shows are skewed one way or the other depending on the segment. I put this down to their defunding.

This is my logic ive put together for privately owned news: Because it is owned by a person(s), and they would likely have a higher amount of money than the average person, it would not be within their best interest to perpetuate left wing views.
