I work in the private defense sector. I wish moral conflicts was the worst of it but in reality s*** is just stressful and imo the compensation isn’t worth it especially compared to others competitive employers in this field

I’m in procurement and I actually like what I do at its core I just do not like how metrics driven my employer is. There’s a lot of bs that I put up with daily that extends past what I believe to be my AOR so that makes it even more frustrating. Literally just got chewed out for something I had no part of but because I inherited it I’m ultimately responsible. I have a job interview today to get out of that sector so hopefully it goes well

Step 1: you’re going to go to fiverr
Step 2: Get someone to write your patreon page pitch ( find an experienced writer)
Step 3: sign up for patreon
Step 4: express what you are expressing about the military complex & let the potential contributors know your plan
Step 5: when you have enough backing, you will quit your job
Step 6: continue working on your page & figuring out the right reward system for your supporters
Step 7: share with someone else who Feels miserable
Step 8: come back and tell us how much your life has changed
