In order of protection / lack of critique

The Beyoncé one takes some cojones. I don’t really agree with all her points but damn. Beehive gonna force her to lean back

ngl it really just sound like noname upset that she couldn't do the same... was she on this type of time before all the BLMpalooza?
She really took a break from twitter, just so she can come back EDGING HARDER!

she was pro-capitalism till people on twitter shamed her for it a little over a year ago
then she started reading and became a radical black communist

Lmao
hard for me to ever fault someone for desiring a radical shift from capitalist systems and powerful voices calling for that socioeconomic shift
Beyonce doesnt align with her systemic beliefs, it is what it is. But look around us, we need sweeping and all-encompassing change. This doesn't make Beyonce a "bad guy" though and to focus on just her seems a little unfair
Hmm....
I don’t think Noname is necessarily wrong, but there’s diminishing returns when you only make noise to critique others. By constantly placing the burden on celebrity artists to be perfect pillars of revolutionary change, aren’t you yourself partaking in celebrity worship? Musicians can spark consciousness and awareness but I think the main work of any socio/political/racial change is brought about by true activists. Activism is interesting in the social media era generally bc a lot of activists tow the line between advocating and self promoting. So yeah.
