Don't usually see you on here being positive and not showing your monkey ass.
Good looking out with the suggestion though lol
if you don’t see me being positive then you don’t rly be checking lol. i’m always down to give recs where i can
just finished up tales of the abyss. great game. actually had a really solid story (especially for tales of games) and character development. but god, the backtracking the second part of the game was awful. i genuinely do not know why they thought that was a good idea.
Started a new file on FFXV after getting only halfway through the first time
I’m actually liking it a lot.
damn how am i only hearing about this now, i know people out there have been waiting on this for years
cant front on his musical legacy though, early DQ games were full of bangers and hes inspired some of the greatest composers in gaming
im thinking of finally giving final fantasy tactics a go, whats the best way to play it? do i go with ps1 or psp, and with which patches/mods
Copped tales of vesperia, hoping this s*** is better than berseria
Vesperia is the best in the series

Thanks for this post.

The opening scene with the four boys pushing the Regalia down the highway as Stand By Me plays in the background is such a great introduction to those characters. If there's one thing the game does well, it's the bond of brotherhood between them.

Probably WOTL patched.
I really like them all PS1, WOTL, Tactics Advanced...

Been meaning to start a new file myself, for all the criticisms I have for the game (and I have a lot lol) I did somewhat enjoy it considering I put 80 hours into it

that’s a pretty good game, especially with the DLC to flesh out the story. i enjoyed at and actually got kinda emotional at the ending, super sad

I didn’t appreciate them or the road trip full on my first playthrough until I realized about halfway through that the game was about to change significantly
So I’m definitely savoring the little moments more.

Yeah definitely isn't for everyone. Seems like you either love it or hate it no in-between
Having a system where you can automate things that you were already going to do anyway is really cool to me though

i definitely get the appeal of it. i just can't stand basically not doing anything during fights. i think xenoblade chronicles combat is where draw the line, since it's pretty afk, but you gotta do some button pressing with specific skills. ff12 combat feels like i'm just setting up if/else statements
how far did you get into 12?

Think im 60% through the game rn? Really need to get back into it before SMTV comes out or I’m probably not gonna touch the game for a while

XV love
A lot of problems yes, but an unforgettable experience
About to start Final Fantasy IV. It always gets mentioned in the "best Final Fantasy game" conversation and seems to be where the identity of the series was really established for the first time. It looks like Endwalker is drawing heavily from IV as well so it will be cool to catch all that stuff when playing through the expansion.
I also need to get around to finishing Chrono Trigger (incredible game). I've been sitting at the end for months now after getting caught up in an annoying sidequest that killed the game's otherwise excellent pacing.
Just finished FFIX today.
Such a beautiful game. I’m so glad I played it. The ending almost made me share a tear not gonna lie.
And Melodies of Life is such a beautiful song.

FF4 was my first JRPG. I played that s*** on the GBA. Great story and characters. Top 2 FF for me.
