It seems like the content in western games is just getting less and less with each release

yeah, i feel that. i think the last western game i actually played through (excluding destiny 2, which has content issues lol) was god of war 2018, and don't have any issues with it whatsoever.

for me, seems like a lot of the western games just really don't appeal to me. the fact that they're generally pretty short doesn't help the case

Dragon Quest 11 Definitive Edition coming to PC

They got a 10 hour demo up on Steam, gonna try that cause I've been looking at the base game for a while but never bought it cause I've never played a Dragon Quest game.

Never fully finish Dragon Quest 11 base game, but I was like 7 hours in so the game didn't really start fully yet.

But from what I played, it was good. It plays just like an old school JRPG.

That MIDI soundtrack was trash though, but that's been fixed with Definitive Edition.

its so stupid that ps4 owners cant just buy that OST as DLC bc im not trying to buy some upscaled visually downgraded port

yeah, it's actually so dumb that the game is basically a port from the switch

granted, there is some extra content with the definitive edition, but the fact that you lose visual quality is so baffling to me.

just like @Nute i dropped it after a few hours bc that midi s*** was getting on my nerves. the game played fine though lol

Well hold on now! Before we go jumping on one of my favorite JRPG's ever.

They add a lot to the new edition. My ONLY complaint is that I can't transfer saves.
