i remember loving the visuals and feeling like it was next level, but it's like the world didn't catch up til years later. such a underrated single, album and era
Track sounds like it came straight outta the 7th dimension
Third verse is actually outer space music
"I got a brand new place, I think I've seen it twice all year
I can't remember how it looks inside
So you can picture how my life's been
I went from starin' at the same four walls for 21 years
To seein' the whole world in just 12 months
Been gone for so long I might have just found God
Well, probably not, if I keep my habits up
Probably not if I can't keep up with lovin''

Really sad that the world caught on waaaayyy too late.
But yeah Kiss Land is amazing.
You can feel the influences in the music vividly:Tokyo,Portishead,John Carpenter.
Also the visuals this era were crazy
AND THIS AINT NOTHING TO RELAATE TOO
Even if you tryyyyyy, you try, you try and you trrrrry
And I don't know how to drive,
I make my driver get high
And if he goes under that 110
Believe my driver get fired
And I don't know how to drive,
I make my driver get high
And if he goes under that 110
Believe my driver get fired
AND I DON'T GOT ANY FRIENDS
I GOT XO IN MY BLOODWORK
The space in between the hook and the 3rd verse around 3:20 to 3:50 is INSANE.
This record is so sinister and horrifying in it's production and lyrics that I think it really embellishes what The Weeknd represents over alot of his other songs.
real af for this
@kiddash3r add this to op, it's the director's cut of the music video
