AOTY for 2020.
Helped make going through this pandemic a little easier
Blinding Lights is his biggest record of all time
Absolute masterpiece in every way
From the music itself
To the music videos that follow a carefully planned storyline
To the live performances that further build on said storyline
To the superbowl performance
Everything about this album and this era is Monumental
Legendary
Historic
This is an album for the history books
10/10 in every way
Not his best album, but easily his best era
I'm happy he's doing good but I didn't care for it. Bottom of the list for me. I hope he can make another classic like House Of Balloons or Kiss Land
It’s his best album, btw.
House of Balloons and Kiss Land still have it beat but it's not far behind
He had a crazy era, this will probably go down as a classic album.
Not the hugest fan of it personally but Hardest To Love is my favorite track, of course Blinded Lights is a certified classic track too
I love the aesthetic of the album and the music videos were awesome, the music disappointed me a bit tho. Just wasn’t the vibe I was looking for, I’d put it bottom 2 in his discog along with Starboy

How do you feel about the album a year later?
really like it, one of his most interesting projects for sure. still play it a couple times a week.
Where does it rank in The Weeknd’s discography?
right after kiss land and trilogy
What are your favorite/least favorite songs?
favorites: repeat after me, escape from la, faith
no songs I don't like but probably play scared to live and blinding lights the least (tho BL is so overplayed in public that I've heard the song like 300 times at least, still like it)
What are some of your favorite moments from this era?
the memento mori episode leading up to heartless and the heartless video with all the teasing of "fear and loathing" and "casino" inspiration. also loved the album title reveal video, the faith intro snippet got me so hyped. the lead up to this album is tied to a lot of memories just from my life at that point so ik it'll only get more nostalgic
