OnlyFans said it has dropped plans to ban p***ography from its service, less than a week after the U.K. content-creator subscription site had announced the change citing the need to comply with policies of banking partners.

On Wednesday, the company said it “secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community,” suggesting that it has agreements with banks to pay OnlyFans’ content creators, including those who share sexually explicit material.

“Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard. We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change,” the company said in a tweet Wednesday.

“OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators,” the company said.

OnlyFans is trying to get a billion-dollar valuation, and in order to do so, they will have to make themselves more attractive to advertisers.

It’s reported that they are struggling to find major advertisers due to their p***ographic content.

OnlyFans is also now a place where celebrities can connect with fans, for a price, and it's lucrative for those with dedicated fanbases who want personalized messages or even brief chats with their favorite artists or sports figures. They may want to start going this route fully instead.

Looks like in order to get the funding they want, they may have to get rid of adult hosted content

The startup, which is profitable, is working with an adviser to solicit interest from investors, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the discussions are private. The idea is to find backers who can help it become more of a mainstream media platform and lessen its reputation for p***.

Though OnlyFans has roots in adult entertainment, the site wants to be a place where a broad range of celebrities and athletes can connect with fans. It’s also looking to attract more advertisers, some of which may be wary of its p*** ties.
