  • So.. I just needed to do some Video editing/Adobe graphic design & purchased the following gaming laptop:

ASUS ROG Strix G15 15.6" Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-10750H/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/GeForce GTX 1650 Ti)

How many games can I download on the above before it slows down?

  • I don't think laptops with ssds slow down the same as ones with normal hard drives

  • so did u buy a laptop to do graphic design / video editing

or a laptop to play games on?

    or both?

  • Upgrade that SSD

  • having a full hard drive is not gonna slow down your computer, you're good

  • baella

Primarily editing/content creation but games is a plus.

I’m basically scared I bought a strong ass computer for my need lmao

    u good

did you research the panel your laptop uses? some laptops have better displays (like better colors) which is useful for editing / graphic design. big reason why people love using macs for gfx cause of the display and color accuracy.

Nah man that 16gb ram definitely gonna come in handy with the video editing and photoshop.

  • Having your SSD more than 75% full can make it start to slow down, but it won't slow down to the speed of a hard drive. Fill it up and if you feel it's too slow, just delete a few things until you're at around 75% usage.

  • over spend? yeah its a laptop so of course you did , but its fine itll do the trick

  • 16 gb ram saved tbh on most modern games

might break 50 to 60 fps on medium settings

pick a game, pick your GPU, youtube will have a benchmark for it.

laptop gaming sucks tho. should have just bought a ps5 lol
