Both are incredible. MM takes the edge over OoT for me though. Even though its half the amount of dungeons, the side quests make the game what it is.

I’ve only played the 3DS versions and enjoyed both, but definitely excited to play the OGs. Doing deku tree rn and the n64 graphics have held up fine tbh, rlly looking forward to getting into this

especially excited for mm cause I’ve heard there are larger differences between the og and remake

I’m not really into Nintendo 64 Zelda
Too choppy. Zelda didn’t perfect the jump to 3D til Wind Waker

Love them but I see their flaws. It's mostly nostalgia.

Remakes are probably the objectively better games. I just prefer the og look. Regardless of version though, the amount of dungeons

I’m about more than halfway done with LTTP but while I still think it’s goated the thing I don’t fw is how you can miss alot of important items, some being needed to complete the boss so you need to get out of the dungeon, head to the light world, get the item in this mini dungeon, then go BACK from Lake Hylia to Death Mountain which is way spread out mind you, THEN do the dungeon again which has an annoying ass platform puzzle to complete, THEN beat the boss. THIS part deducts a point off my final score so that’s the main flaw I have with LTTP, otherwise it’s still a masterpiece so far. I’m bout to go to the Ice Palace

Ok that was a good 2 day break now that I’m no longer occupied with watching Dahmer

It’s still dumb as s*** that the ice rod, a boss required item, is just treated like it’s a heart container that you just happened to stumble across like my first time realizing that i completely missed it and had to do this b**** ass dungeon all over again
Glad they learned to put boss required items IN the dungeons themselves instead of this dumbass s***

    Link To The Past review
This is one of those games that straight up builds the blueprint for the following Zelda’s after it. It still has some elements of Zelda one but it feels like it’s building off of it, like a real successor. Keep in mind this was before we got every other Zelda game so the only successor to the franchise at the time was that abomination Zelda II. there’s a reason why almost every Zelda game after this followed the formula of this game. The biggest improvement was actually making this world feel alive, s***, I even imagined if it was an anime almost, the writing is that good. Now my only real problem with the game is the backtracking is a little annoying, and Turtle Rock as a whole. F*** that ENTIRE dungeon as a whole and everything leading up to it. Also some times they got too carried away with f***ing ice floors. Other than that tho, this game aged amazingly. I’m giving it a strong 9.5/10
