That to me feels dumb too cause ps vr1 was only successful if you compare it to other VR devices, so not so much. Its just too early for VR right now, there was no need to invest in it if you're treating it like the virtual boy, just let it go until the time is right
Success is profit . They have profited already with a device that can only be used on ps5 . As long as they occasionally support it . Anyone that buys in is more profit
Saw this on the gaming leaks subreddit:
I bet Sony is going to rushes out a The Last of Us 3 or Tsushima 2 teaser by the end of the year.

I mean if this results in Sony last minute pivoting from live services I may be in

Same reason Overwatch 2 PVE was scrapped
The whole industry seems to be scared of the incoming state of the economy later this year

Lol I mean the amount of layoffs and stick closures . All these gaas and free to play games used to be modes in robust single player games . Gears of war 1-3, splinter cell 3,4 and many of my favorite games . There used to be teams working in creating value . So yes have great cinematic story but if someone wanted to play the separate versus mode and put hours into it they could .
If they liked coop but not single player they could . Selling each mode piece meal and trying to maximize profit on each one is disappointing. Microsoft are dumbasses but I do like that they let teams cook and take risk like grounded or sea of thieves. It may not immediately have its audience but it grows . Factions 2 could have been an early access style ps5 pc game and it is shaped with the community rather than bungie making a verdict . Bungie not a third person shooter team. Also Bungie getting flack for retaining destiny players
At a certain point s*** when you own studios use them together to make the best product possible with each others technology . This got announced on ps4 . Concept art last year could have been this more they showed now lol
This s*** is sad man
My feeling is FF16 gets great reviews which will help but Sony needs to show what we're getting in the next 2-3 years if they want to make up for the Showcase.

Final fantasy xvi cool but end of day just a timed exclusive marketing deal that I worry will some how run even better on my pc in years with less bugs ( they said no day 1 patch needed and it went gold really early so maybe not ) .
Final fantasy xvi
Spider man
Are cool but really do want a multiplayer reason to consistently play ps5 that’s just me though . I can play sfvi on ps5 or pc . I recognize it’s a singleplayer machine now. Just at least more out there ideas with player freedom would help me

Sony has had 2 showcases in the same year before though which was in 2020. But dunno if to believe it until Tom Henderson or Jeff Grubb says anything about a second one indeed happening... So I'll take this whole thing with a HUGE grain of salt tbh

True, I think it might make sense though if they want to announce the PS5 Pro soon

I mean I would say forget about it if Sony both shows the upcoming PS5 headset and the PS5 that you can add a Blu-Ray disc drive to. Because it seems like Sony has to show something hardware related every time they do a showcase but their been an exception some times can happen though. But after they have showed us the remaining 2 hardware related announcements so isn't there anything to show until 2024 and that's if the PS5 Pro release doesn't get delayed until 2025.
I want another showcase this year though... But I am not getting my hopes up and especially after I do see what happens at the Summer Game Fest 2023 in 10 days which is gonna tell us something about Sony's next move
But tbh I've a feeling that 2024 will be a better year for Sony than 2023 but 2023 has been decent for me so far though
Oh look at this one guys...
What a letdown compared to that Xbox prsentation.
LMFAO you a trouble starter for bumping this
