RIP Breonna Taylor Haven't seen a thread. Apparently they were serving a "no knock" warrant for someone who was ALREADY IN POLICE CUSTODY her bf thought the cops were intruders, grabbed his legally registered piece and started shooting. Cops fired 20 rounds, hitting his sleeping gf, an emt, 8 times. My biggest question is: How can he be charged in a "stand your ground" state? Especially when the cops are headasses

    Oh, wait,

Isn't this ALSO the same case where the judge ended up hugging the victim because she started crying?

it's institutionalized so why would it differ one to another.

Jesus Christ they don't have a system in place to notify them that a wanted suspect has been apprehended?

Can't really blame the dude for shooting although cops don't just breach houses and try and tip toe around, they are usually screaming 'Police' and other s***.

They should just drop the charges on the basis that they killed his lady for nothing.

  • May 14, 2020

The fact that dude is being charged is completely ridiculous....

this doesn't mention the worst part of it imo, the cops were plain clothes cops

so two cops, not in uniform, broke into his house and killed his wife because he thought he was getting robbed and tried to protect himself

The case has been ongoing since March with no real progress.

Just take a couple a couple seconds to sign the petition to get the word out change.org/p/andy-beshear-justice-for-breonna-taylor?cs_tk=AkukkCHvC2j0QH_zwV4AAXicyyvNyQEABF8BvHVXE4rBPxHiqrcsaFk2vXk%3D&utm_campaign=2b95afc825194d3da6c0571349ffff2a&utm_content=initial_v0_0_1&utm_medium=email&utm_source=promoted_petition_receipt&utm_term=cs

This case deserves as much mainstream coverage as the others have gotten. Social media and online campaigning can help make it happen. I believe the officers still have not been charged with anything. The boyfriend is no longer in jail but was put on home incarceration.
