a 7.5 for this franchise that’s been swimming in mid/trash since Predator 2 is part of it lol

I loved the story...the way she was constantly trying to prove to her own people that she was capable and a threat...when push comes to shove and she has to get ruthless she proves that but also becomes a target to the predator who also didn't see her as a threat until that point...I just really like how they handled that aspect of the story...she really couldn't hunt for s*** in that first half though

It's a well-made film, from a moviemaking standpoint. Just that if you go from Prey to the first Predator movie, it's gonna seem a lot more... Flatter

Finished Prey. Short and sweet, this was cool too. 3/5. Didn't leave much of an impression except that it's well made.

Naru is a likeable enough protagonist.

How did Naru figure out the helmet in order to kill the predator ? Maybe I missed it but is that part ever explained.

I should’ve watched the Comanche dub. That might’ve boosted my enjoyment in this but it’s cool tho

I think she saw it use it‘a helmet with ol boy in the tall grass to shoot and then when her bro knocked it off it wasn’t accurate with it ? I can’t really remember but I believe it’s a callback to the earlier scene with the hawk circling back around and she was waiting for it

I liked it. This one and Predators are my favorite of the sequels/prequel. A good installment after the last one

I wasn't expecting much going into this and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a pretty good movie.

The Tribe had stories of a monster that resembled the Predator prior to the events of this, so that sort of contradicts the whole “first hunt” thing.

This series should definitely go the Assassins Creed route and do a Viking/Predator battle or some s*** like that.
