somebody posted it a while back on here and i was just wondering if anybody could link me to it
the noise era voice singing HOB song is an interesting thing to listen to
??
How is it any different lmao. It’s obviously a lot more raw and untrained but fundamentally it’s still very much Abel.

I don’t know why you got so defensive about his post

Oh naw it wasn’t like that I was jus legitimately curious lol.
Clip is dope as f*** for sure but it still sounds very much like Abel and the post made it seem as if “The Noise Abel” and “The Weeknd Abel” is 2 different voices lbs.

that's all i meant fam, sounds like all the other clips from noise era, t - minus era
i'm wondering when this video is from. gotta say 2010 because they're calling him the weeknd. if the whole rose story is true anyways, saying that he came up with that name.

Yea this most definitely prolly 2010 shortly before HOB dropped the following year. I saw this back in 2011 too as well as that video of him singing happy birthday on a train lmao, but seeing it again now when he’s such a massive star is WILD smh. Camera man had no idea he was recording the future biggest artist on the planet.

in the party video though it definitely feels like they believe in dude. I mean maybe not to this level but they knew he was getting pretty damn good.
