He was working a full time schedule from 22 to 56 y.o., barely ever had terrible matches if he had enough time to work a good one.
Most of the Attitude Era and Post AE main eventers couldn't do full time schedules past their early 40s for the most part (WWE does a lot of shows though to be fair).

Mind you he was traveling around the world to defend his belt too. Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, North Korea, Singapore, New Zealand etc. plus your traditional places like Japan, Mexico, Europe. Dude wrestled everywhere
