Whenever I watch an old WWF or WCW show and I look at the crowd, I feel like that casual audience is watching UFC now.

Like that video Mastiff posted earlier today. Looking at that audience, those people don't watch WWE anymore. But they look like the type of people at a UFC show

Video was from the 90s to be fair most of those people in their 40s or 50s probably. Why woud they care about wrestling now? Especially considering the state the product is in, lets be honest its pretty hokey for the most part and there ain't really any feeling anymore. LIJ, Bullet Club and Shield have been the most exciting parts about prowrestling for the part of the last decade - two of those factions were made in a Japanese company which doesn't have a massive Western presence. Wrestling characters had always been outlaws, not so much now.

That's definitely true. Usually when I watch AEW I'm glued cause I don't want to miss anything but the past couple of weeks it's been in the background cause it feels like they're just filling up time until everything is back to normal.

What made AEW was that everything felt like it mattered, but now it feels like filler.

My parents are in their 50-60s and they only put the news at noon on.

Every other time they got a movie on the TV.
