We live in a world where people delete posts if they don’t get enough likes within 10 minutes

If you don’t see a problem with that then ok

Instant access has fried peoples brains and made them entitled as f***

If you don’t text a person back (especially a significant other) within a time frame that THEY designed in their head they start getting anxious and negative feelings towards you.

    It’s sad, really

I think as humans we need to evaluate our relationship with all forms of social media

But let’s be clear, this isn’t just restricted to traditional social media

You see this here too and outside of technology

    Human beings

Will always try to find some form

Or validation from others, and they always have

    It is human nature

    It is just that technology

Has made it to where these forms of quick validation, depression, missing out syndrome and addiction

Are ever present and right in our hands, which is dangerous

Mayne I done came ITT & you speaking in haikus nephew. That’s beautiful.

Real s*** bro! Been preaching this stuff for a minute, am glad to get some recognition for spreading awareness.

But if we're being honest the best thing isn't me being here, but rather that people seeing this are able to understand the dangers of social media. We've gotta lead the newer generation to greatness.

LinkedIn is arguably the most toxic letting you know who's visited your page is on some obsessive stalker s***

makes sense insta would be the worst, its all picture and video and you have people bragging and showing off what they have to other people who are less fortunate.

the funny thing is we've seen many times where someone will pretend or attempt to play the role like they're living the life and posting all these vacation pics on instagram.

their are people that look rich that are actually just middle class, but they play the role and pretend like they're rich. its like they're lowkey sociopaths that have gotten addicted to the attention and having so many people commenting on their insta that they're willing to lie endlessly as long as they get acceptance and validation online from strangers

i've never seen so many people worried about validation and approval from strangers behind a screen, but here we are. this world sucks

Hell nah. That s*** is letting you know where your money is coming from

If niggas are looking at your page on LinkedIn, that means they are considering you in a business perspective.

Social networks are great. It’s the commodification of social media tools and their corruption by turning them into tools of business and professional profiling (in the pseudo-professional world of influencers) instead of the personal representations that they should be that has ruined the world social media

The second social media firms added stores and tools specifically for businesses and verified accounts and added algorithms to push accounts that are popular, their apps went from genuine places to share your life to another vector of the inescapable forces of capitalism and capitalist business

And disparaging people who don’t get engagements or don’t think they look good is GREAT money

    Just close the app

It's really that simple. Very few people you see in your day-day are going to have Instagram bodies. And of those that do, almost all of them will be hiding those bodies behind clothes unless you're at a beach or something.

  • theres definetely some bs goin on with China bro. Anytime you criticize their government, ppl on the internet say asian hate, as if the government and the people arent two separate things.
