John is the goat but i'd rank arthur slightly ahead of him because of the 6th chapter of rdr2.

Haven’t played rdr2 yet but John was such a good character idk how they could do better

Arthur is my favorite protagonist of all time

They did. I kinda cant believe it because john was so good but arthur really evolved over the course of the story.

If anything rdr2 made john worse but if we are basing his charecter on the first game alone
