It’s funny seeing them go out like this until you realize it just leads to Tucker Carlson being the GOP’s candidate in 2024.

Not that this matters in terms of candidacy. Sexual assault allegations are a purple heart for Republicans.

the GOP has known for months they're going to lose, have you seen the scam fundraising emails? pundits popular among conservatives who aren't just trump cultists - i.e. Cernovich, Saagar, even people in the JRE sphere - have been saying for awhile now Trump and the GOP is absolutely f***ed. the recent ramp up of rhetoric from Trump is a desperate attempt to regain the wider voting base he's lost by repeated policy and rhetoric failures. Trump's decline with the target voterbase started when he replaced Bannon with Kushner, the GOP has been completely bleeding all support except the trump cult in that time.

No backing off. No getting complacent. Stake through the heart until it's dead.

It's not so much about being racist, as much as it's about priming people for some kind of actual war with China. They're in the cross hairs now the same way Iraq was in the early 2000s.

    He would have thought.

Tryna extend his presidency I see

If anything it will be the most accurate. Those that normally wouldn't go out and vote suddenly will because of how convenient mailing in your vote would be. He knows that those that don't vote wouldn't vote for him if voting became more convenient.

    Say it with me:

Mail-in voting and absentee ballots are functionally the exact same thing.

Mail-in voting refers to a larger category of potential voting options than absentee ballots (not all mail-in votes are absentee ballots), but pretty much all absentee ballots are mail-in.

I wouldn't expect Trump to have a lot of experience with Venn diagrams, but there's a hell of a lot of overlap here. Too much to take such a strong stand. He's assuming that enough of the American people (40ish percent) will be ignorant enough to let this slide.
