One of my absolute favorite Rich Homie Quan songs ever He was so good at making those motivational jams. The way he would flow and drawl on a beat was effortless. Them crispy catfish tinted vocals just set apart from his contemporaries imo Also, can't forget about Problem's verse on here, dope asf
The music video was also fav of mine. Just seeing HBCU Frats and Sorors strolling was just amazing. Black Excellence at its finest. RHQ was getting down up in there too. The scenery as well. Use to play this video all the time on Music Choice after coming home from Junior High.
R.I.P. to this guy . His contributions to Hip Hop in the 2010s was such a pleasure. I wish he had pushed forward with the Melodic Hip Hop, motivational raps. He would have fit right in with Don Toliver, NBA, Roddy Rich, and the rest if he had been able to navigate properly.
him and a few other guys like Trinidad James deserved so much better - influenced a lot without reaping any of the benefits
rest in peace king, you were one of the majors for us part of hs 2014
