Literally nothing unique about this. Gonna be hard for them to get a strong playerbase imo

I haven't played it but it looks like a real well executed mix of both so I can see the app. This looks like straight up fortnite

Rogue Company is 5v5 class-based shooter played on various maps that are real life locations

only things Rogue and Fort share are being 3rd Person and spawning involves dropping from a ship but in Rogue Company you have a team landing zone to land in (spawn area)

honestly Rogue is more like a third person CS:GO than anything else

you buy your items start of each round from shop, then you fly in from dropship to team spawn zone and then it's just like CS:Go

and even the gunplay is way more tactical than Fortnite, actually ducking behind walls is a real thing and u can roll dodge and go prone

Damn tbh I didn't get that from the trailer at all. Sounds dope

yeah ive been playing the Alpha for PC

you can even change position of your player on the screen from left to right and there's a few other much more tactical elements

we're still on NDA but honestly can talk about most of the stuff cause its in the gameplay reveal that just came out (see OP)

take in the ONLY third person shooting games that made it into eSports categorization are Fortnite, Gears of War and PUBG

Fortnite is so trash though and definitely wasn't really worth of the eSports title but the popularity and funding had to make it so

imagine what this game could be for Third Person Shooters and eSports instead of battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG

this really a mobile game.

It's fun, just doesn't do a whole lot better from all the other shooters out at the moment.

Thank god It has cross-play with every console and pc because ir's the only way I can see this game having a decent fanbase down the line .

Also Hi-Rez is known to abandon games or kill the playerbase with awful patches if it's not Smite or Paladins

Got it on Switch a few days ago. Only played maybe 30-60 minutes but so far this is the only shooter that has caught my attention since Fortnite. Glad to see another third person shooter. Can’t stand first person. Also the game runs in 60 FPS on Switch, which is impressive for a Switch port. Looks good too.

This game fun af tbh, especially if you got a full squad going
