how this nigga still manages to sound like a disappointed father while wearing those glasses is f***in insane

royce got a nigga feelin like he got his tv privileges revoked and gotta go to bed early

  • Royce right, dude coming off self righteous as you can expect from these writer types who get a little name then think they’re in the game or more important than they really are

It’s one thing to look into this supposed scam as a journalist but the language he used was not journalistic in nature and came off aggressive. “How many other MCs wanna tarnish their legacy?” Fam even if this s*** is a wack scam it’s not doing s*** to any legacies as certified as f***ing Redman for f*** sake, who are you to make a statement like this? He crossed a line and got too spicy with it, felt too comfortable. Get him out

I don’t know anything about that, I would have to assume that the company is the bad guy tho and the rappers are somewhat unaware or at least not directly doing the shady s***. And even if they are it’s not gonna tarnish a legacy if we being real.

Dude really should have put this into a nice little professional article, or taken a step back before he tweeted this. Honestly it’s shocking to me that he didn’t think twice about blatantly disrespecting Royce

Yeaah, even if this looks a way you shouldn't jump the gun on it like that. It's definitely a sus situation altogether though.

  • At some point a tweet isn’t really journalism, I’m sure he’s gonna hide behind that and say he’s just reporting but you gotta report more professionally. Using all caps SMFH and asking that rhetorical question really makes it seem like dude is ready for action

  • Takotchi

And if this was different I would maybe say Royce going too far threatening dude. But dude came with that energy loud and clear. Hope he learns from this, probably a wake up call. How you get as far as he’s gotten in hip hop journalism and not know to tread lightly with an old school dude from Detroit?

I presume I'm more familiar with Royce's career than most here. It's not much of a legacy!

That’s kind of neither here nor there for this situation. Both sides think he has a legacy of some kind

It's actually essential to the premise of the situation.

i saw a mutual i know on IG bragging about talking to a big rapper and posting the screenshots it turned out to be one of these scams

  • Sep 30, 2020

I just feel like if they’re both operating under the premise that he has a legacy, and the question isn’t whether he has one but whether or not it has been tarnished, then you chiming in to say he has no legacy is kind of going backwards and a non-sequitur.

And then it really goes beyond the whole legacy s*** and just to the way the writer was speaking in his tweet. It don’t really matter if he was right, or if there’s no legacy to speak of. His tone was aggressive and unprofessional, and frankly insane

Royce need to get out his damn feelings. Why is he taking this so personal anyway when it’s not even about him?

I mean the tweet says reputation not legacy. Royce is known by most people with a decent knowledge of hip hop so yes hes got a reputation
