I was watching (feeding and letting him out) my aunt and uncles dog today and he’s old af. I remember they got him when he was a puppy he was so energetic and s***… now he can’t even walk up stairs by himself or even eat dry foods.

Had to carry my boy up the stairs today and was watching him like a hawk to make sure nothing happened to him when I let him outside to do his thing. He just lays down all day now. 😕

2 of my cats turned 5 a few months ago and it made me kinda sad it felt like they were just kittens. I take good care of them so hopefully they make it near 20(+)

Yea my dog almost deaf now and it happened so fast. It was like one day she just stopped running downstairs to greet me when I got home cause she can’t hear the door slam closed, then later I realized she got the hearing of a old head lmao

She still has a lot of energy though but some days she gets real sick too

I've seen a lot of great pets come and go. just cherish your time and the memories you get from it

yeah its really hard. just gotta remember how much that dog probably loved its life and be thankful you could give that to them
