I get paid on tips and tbis place is always dead, working 10 hout shifts pulling 80 on a GOOD DAY. Worked a 6 hour shift last week and brought home 35, I think my time is worth more than this but I feel like a d*** yo just stop showing up, I've done it wirh all my other jobs but this time it feels appropriate. They almost always call the reference you put, not your employers main line.
