yea am support for local files is unparalleled. lossless and dolby atmos features are killer too.

only real advantage of spotify is better auto playlists, but if ur the kind of person who relies on AI to spoonfeed u new music, ur already losing😹

I got a 6 month free trial atm. They have some things I like. The spatial audio is nice, but you can’t really enjoy it fully without the pro headphones.

I prefer Tidal overall. Tidal has a lot of mixtapes and loosies that aren’t available on AM. AM on the other hand has a lot more of my “weird/alt music” available to me when I get into that bag. Like a lotta anime opening songs, and krnb.

Also the suggested music Tidal recommends are usually some dope s***. Like it got me into Lianne La Havas. Would’ve never found her music on my own tbfh.

    I have apple and Spotify.

I find the Spotify UX on mobile.

Apple wins for my home theatre set-up. Watching music videos and watching streams are great on it.

I switched to Spotify from AM beginning this year

I’ll say AM is way better a shuffling imo, and as far as organizing music in your library I think it’s superior

The UI is more fluid on Spotify IMO though

Besides the user interface there's almost no difference between Apple Music and Spotify.

  • Spotify better 🤡🤡🤡

the only con of Spotify is the local file system kinda sucks, everything else is better imo.

reminder that am has fully integrated support for local files. meaning all those mixtapes that are only on tidal, u can manually add to apple, and once it's uploaded apple music treats it like any other album
