I’ll preface this by saying im not a vegan but I tried it here and there.
All the s*** that’s been coming out about factory farming, how lax they are allowed to be with safety regulations, how s*** it is for the environment, etc.
Add to that the fact that they are generally healthier and are at less risk for things like heart disease and hpb.
As more options become available will people slowly move away from eating meat or at least as much of it?

at some point, lab-grown meat is going to be so accurate that there'll be virtually no point for real meat other than maybe special occasions
for now, you don't have to completely write off meat, just consume less of it. maybe once or twice a week.

Unfortunately, a lot of large food companies and small farms are trying to co-opt concern over animal welfare with misleading terms like 'cage-free' and 'humanely-raised'.
