Ye had the original flow to run with, using someone else’s flow ain’t sliding to me. The flow did really suit him but without that catchiness he sounds grating, he hasn’t come up with a flow on a trap beat that good

The influx of trap sounds into hiphop was the first time that Ye wasn't directly involved in the sonic/tonal shift of the genre, despite it being such a Chicago thing, which is kinda ironic.

Yea and Jay said he regretted making it a single and if you were around at the time you remember how bad the response was, that’s why they made it a bonus, and probably changed the direction of the rest of the album a little, making the other trap song a bonus too.
