SADX is literally the greatest game of all time

if u get the most recent android/iOS version (i know... u can also emulate em i guess. i wish these versions were on consoles), the sonic 2 stages are a lot easier cus the graphics are updated and make visibility/performance just a whole lot better

yea fax that's why i recommended it. there's still some cheap design but that's just the game. however the updated visuals really do make the emeralds much more possible. used to never even try when i was playin the sonic mega collection version (btw i envy you for having the OG hardware i am gonna buy some in the coming years for sure), but now i can easily get em all in a single <1 hour playthrough sadly i am using touch controls, but i don't find it that bad. though clearly a controller would be preferable (btw, f*** iOS for not organically accepting joycon bluetooth )
