When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
Not sure if this had a thread already but it’s been getting big buzz at film festivals

Wanted to peep this at Sundance
Looks pretty generic, but idk, Smile was apparently pretty good. Horror can be marketed a lot different than it plays
I like that its a new horror cast even if idea itself isn't like "wow never seen anything like that" do think they showed a lil too much in trailer but I know its hard to balance with an horror movie.
Very cool to see them going from hyped about premiering at Sundance to getting picked up by A24, also getting good reception from critics (97% currently on RT with 50+ reviews) as well as getting co-signed by talented filmmaker/horror kings like Ari Aster, James Wan, Jordan Peele, Steven Spielberg and Stephen King

Smile started off good but the final stretch was hot garbage

I saw one spoiler screenshot that looked straight manga which intrigued me but watching the whole plot for one disturbing scene

Crazy that was the best for me
Loving we getting back into fun horror stuff a bit
