Thought the show was good but episode 7 was the best TV episode I've seen in some time.
On episode 3 atm. Why ain’t Lip wearing a hair net?
Show is decent I guess. The restaurant they’re working at sorta reminds me of another restaurant in the city on Halsted n Randolph called Au Cheval. It’s like a gourmet burger type place. Always a long ass line n crowded inside. You can see all the chefs n waiters working, s*** looking hectic. If you’re sitting at the bar/counter you can see the chefs preparing the burgers n you can make conversation etc.
How is Au Cheval? Food looks good but I just seen they charging $23 for eggs and toast
Also didn’t know this show took place in Chicago maybe I should peep
WE WON @op
Can't believe I liked this.
Dudes talented. I couldn't watch him on shameless because that show gives much more stress than this s***.

It’s pretty decent. Mainly went for the burgers idk bout anything else on their menu. My shorty likes it more than me. If you’re gonna check it out, best go early especially on weekends, otherwise you gonna have a 2, 3 or even 4 hour wait
Episode 7 was good, but wish I didn’t come itt. It didn’t live up to the hype y’all are giving it for me lol. Very good episode though, I think I like episode 8 better though.
Yea nah episode 8 the one. The letter got me damn near tearing up. Making me thinking about my relationship with my older brother & sister
Idk why but I noticed when I watched Everything Everywhere All At Once, the scenes that get me emotional isn’t when the bad stuff is happening, it’s the aftermath that always chokes me up. Whether it’s a good resolution or bad. Same with this show. When he’s reading the letter, and when they’re all opening the tomato paste, Syd comes back. Then they’re all eating at the table. As I get older these are the type of scenes that get the water works flowin and make it hard to swallow.
This was a great first season. I thought I wasn’t gonna like this show at first, but by the end of it surprised myself by how emotionally invested I became. This finale was damn near flawless. Shorty that plays Sydney gonna be a star fr. Buddy who was doing the cakes n baking too. The guy who plays Carmy aka Lip already a star, he just putting Jake Gyllenhall notice.
Didn't really need a s2 tbh
I think it could work. I hope they up the budget a bunch because it really felt small budget at times, granted maybe that contributed to the charm of the first season. I'd also like to see Chicago used as more of a character of the show. Guessing COVID played a role in Season 1 but I think they could do a lot with the city of Chicago.

nah that tomato money def bout to come w a whole new set of problems need another season to explain the tomato money + wanna see the new improved restaurant too.
richie is an a****** but i kinda love it...
love how that carmy admits his mistakes and will apologize. his respectful nature to everyone in the kitchen is cool to see.
ep 7 was too stressful for me lol it was only 20 min but it felt like 45 to me... all that stress and yelling and arguing is my worst nightmare
