    Not worth my attention tbh

Just reassures me that the mainstream gaming market is a downward spiral with fans like these

Twitch never made sense to me. Why would you spend hours watching someone play a video game when you could just spend hours actually playing the video game

Commentary/communal experience. If someone has a good personality it can enhance it.

Although I’m assuming that if it’s a game that actually interests the viewer, they’ve already played it or are in the process of playing it.

Playing games online is a far better communal experience than spamming F or Pog in a chat imo. It's just something that I'll never understand. Even my 24 year old friends talk about all these streamers and I'm just thinking to myself, how tf do you have time to watch this s*** I find RDCWorld hilarious, but I'm not going to spend hours watching them stream games I could just play myself

I don't watch streamers like that but I do like to see how people react to stuff in games for the first time after I've already experienced them

Like say if there's a boss that comes out of nowhere, it's fun to see other people be as shocked as you were

I mean it also allows you to check out games that you either never got around to playing or no longer have access to (i.e. older games that haven’t been ported, or games on consoles you don’t own).

Its just something I do when im not playing games. I also watch Twitch when I am playing like a mindless game. I like watch people who are actually GOOD (pro players) compared to streamers like XQC or entertainers like that. Also by watching it helps me learn new ways on how to play and get better

Not a Horizon fan, but this type thing happens with every newly released popular game/sequel

  • Jan 27, 2022

This is nothing new lol what are you talking about

Its just the braindead console war bullshit from the minority

Not serious unless youre in on it

This s*** been going on internet wise since the ps3/360 era which is the era that really exploded this type of thinking due to ps3 and 360 constanly going back and forth in dominating during the rise of social media & online gaming.

But even then you had s*** like sega & Nintendo that also literally encouraged it and used it as marketing.

Again, nothing new & has nothing to do with the "new/modern" mainstream audience.

Watching to improve makes sense, but you really got Twitch on while you playing a game? Even if it's a game you consider mindless, that's wild to me

Well I only play like FPS games. So I just have twitch on the background while I’m playing Cod for example

  • I’ll maybe listen to a stream while i’m playing but twitch content is never good enough for me to just sit there and watch

That's crazy, Idk how you focus on both or why you'd want your attention split like that

Literally every sequel ever made reuses assets and animations

Ok maybe I have been in a different bubble all my life but I cant remember any time reused animations were considered a valid point of criticism

this is just the weird extra side of the gaming community that loves getting arguments and having beefs with other twitter niggas about pixels

    usually with console warring agendas
