Bored again at work, watched a documentary on transgendered kids growing up. I highly recommend:

The kids in these movies are so well spoken, confident, and keen. But not because they wanted to be, per se. They had to grow up fast, and you can see it in their interactions with their friends. Much more mature and cognizant of their words and I think the internet saved their lives. An unbiased, uncompromising, open and free platform to express onesself, especially when your home life is s***.

One spotlight I had is on a kid named John. FtM transitioned, trying his best to live a life. However, his dad is imo a huge b****, going on about how he doesn’t know how to reconcile his decision because “i dont think its right” or “i think its a path to hell” and “not gods plan”.

Bro im like is this dude serious? Beyond just a tough and confusing situation to get through, this dude is so selfish and has a thinly veiled kind of disgust, so much so that he openly talks about divorce in front of his 13-14 year old kid

I understand what its like to grow up fast and assume adult roles, but i appreciate the movie for giving me a more in depth understanding and i recommend it

I still need to watch! But if you liked this one you should def check out HBO’s doc called Transhood. It revolves around transgender kids as well & is super informative & eye opening

What are you confused about? A transgender kid is transgender, you can't "not let them be" what they already are. Not that hard to understand.
