The big issue here is that AOC is allowing her image and her message to be commodified and sold as a product to the heads of the American Public through social media, TV, the power of the meme, etc. The message is being nullified by the sheer irony of the context of what AOC is wearing is pretty disingenuous already, just imagine that.
It delegitimizes the entire point of the left wing because it is being used through the entire channel of communication dominated by their political targets
