Kendrick boutta scrap or remake his whole album, this pandemic is affecting the world and the US and Kendrick can’t let his music be disconnected from actuality.

Why would he suddenly scrap an album that he put a lot of time and effort into it?

Wouldn’t make sense for Kendrick to drop an album while thousands of people around the country and the world are dying. And if he delays it he definitely would have to address this.

The album is probably already timely. untitled unmastered and DAMN already hit different right now, he’s been on the apocalyptic vibes. I said back when Nipsey passed that he was going to talk about that on the album and then when Kobe passed I felt like he was gonna add that too. This situation will probably factor in too but idk if to the point of a significant delay. If anything this will delay it because Kendrick is too big to drop without a tour supporting it

He’s a quiet type of artist himself. So I won’t think he would feel obligated to suddenly address the delay of album. Maybe he’ll just tweak the final thing and add onto the album overtime, kinda doubt he’ll scrap the entire thing.

You’re right that it doesn’t make sense for him to drop his album now. He would lose on so much revenue and traction due to lack of concerts and other events

We’re likely looking at a late 2021, early 2022 release date then if that is the case, because concerts and festivals aren’t going to be re-established until a vaccine is discovered and mass distributed.

And even still, that time-frame for a vaccine could be considered optimistic.

    Well, s***

Concerts and festivals are gonna be among the very last things that will be granted approval to re-open.

It is in no way a viable marketing practice, and it won’t be for a looooong time.

Kendrick would be better off live-streaming something.

If artists are really holding back their releases in anticipation of being able to do live performances again then they’re probably better off just shelving that s***, because that is a f***ing pipe dream and a half.
