It's man made. Time does nothing to benefit me so why should I acknowledge it? My age? Why does it matter? So you can belittle me? My thought process exceeds many whom've lived longer than me so it means nothing. We place too much on numbers age instead of the period of life you’re living. I don't even remember when I was born so how am I to say I've been alive X amount of years? Because of a certificate? No. Aren't you born before the womb? A fetus? Who decided 24 hrs? A year? Time is an outdated concept. We use time of the past that has limitations on our advancing society. People are afraid of change.

Keeping track of time is one of the most important thing we did as a species.
Instead of using the sun going up and down,we calculated how much time the Earth needs to go around the sun,how much time it needs to rotate around itself etc so we can use it to our advantage.
These measurements gave us incredible precision that is used in everything nowadays

As i told you,we base different measures on different stuff(the time needed for the earth to rotate the sun-a year etc etc)
The name of these things is irrelevant,the point im trying to make is that keeping track of time is essential in the human evolution.
Even the earliest of civilization had a way of keeping time.
Nowadays we have perfected that,we dont use many moons ago,we use concrete scientific correct terms of measuring time.
