By themselves, Sonarr & Radarr are pretty limited as far as integrated trackers. Using Jackett will allow you to add a s***ton more. You mentioned BTN? Integrated with Sonarr out of the box. Jackett trackers are listed here: github.com/Jackett/Jackett

I haven’t used Couchpotato in years I can’t say how it’ll work out. (I use OMBI).

At least with Ombi I’m able to integrate it with instances of Sonarr, Radarr, & Lidarr. Essentially Ombi will read what movies or shows I currently have, plus what I want to grab. When you set it up, you set the default quality profile to look for, but those profiles are actually what you set in Sonarr or Radarr. So right now all my media has a quality profile of 1080p. In *rr I have it set so that my 1080p profile will only grab Bluray-1080, WebDL-1080 or HDTV-1080.

Once in Sonarr or Radarr I can adjust the profile if needed.

On a global level, I’m able to completely filter out the possibility of downloading media that contains certain words (yify, CAM, trailer, yts.max, yts).

New Profiles:

Each of those qualities has min & max file sizes that can be tweaked so you don’t get some “Blu-ray 2160p” file that’s 800mb.

“What do they do?”
Manage everything. Literally the only thing I have to do I request a movie, tv show, or musical artist in Ombi. Doing that pushes it to the correct rr program. The rr program will then begin searching all the indexers I've made available to it, find the media at the quality level I've set, begin & downloading it on a client (Torrent or Usenet). Beyond that, you can have it automatically rename your media, move it, upgrade it if a higher quality comes out (1080 to 2160) etc.

I mean, you can set it up so that all media added isn’t monitored by default. It’ll know you want it, but it won’t download it automatically based on your quality levels. You can select an item, search, and see results across all indexers

Selecting one of the titles takes you to the site its at so you can see media info.
