Okay so I was listening to JACKBOYS, the song What To Do?, and Travis says:
"Always thought T was a rex"
Like wtf does that mean?
I'm convinced he raps about random s***. Most of his songs are completely random besides early DBR, OP and some Rodeo songs.
He's my fav artist btw but jesus
T for tina
Travis is a tweaker
Trav is trash we know
Trav stans have trash taste we know
Beating a dead horse
You don't need to rap about anything to be good it only needs to sound good
pd: I don't like Travis
When that nigga said always thought t was a rex I cut that s*** off. At least let me put my mouth where you potty boo was an attempt being funny.
Big Travis fan here, future is way better and it’s just not close

I realized that Travis is just some high music that sounds cool not much substance, future brings out that raw emotion
Travis really living in y'all head rent free
Lmao nah, he paying hella rent. Can’t even afford to eat after he pays it
He has songs like grey and impossible where it has a basic view on certain topics but it doesn’t go too deep, but that was years ago so
Tbh rather hear Travis rap than ever other generic ass artist talking about d****, guns, and b****es 24/7 over a different beat imo.

Most music in general really be about nothing. You can only go over the same couple of relatable topics so many times before it gets played out and most 'conceptual' songs or albums end up corny as hell.
The magic of Travis is his ability to create an atmosphere to immerse yourself in. His music feels more like an experience rather than just songs, even if he ain't saying anything groundbreaking on the record.
