Depends what you’re into. Mainstream shooters and sports games and Bethesda games then Xbox. Sony exclusives like the last of us and god of war then ps5 obviously. Switch is basically for Nintendo exclusivity cuz all multiplatform games are worst performing on switch

If you planning on buying a couple of the cinematic games and playing through them a little at a time ps5.
If you just kinda playing sports games and some shooters I’d go Xbox. Gamepass is valid for 15 bucks a month so you won’t be buying games like that.

Ps5 then as you missed out on all those ps exclusives that dropped between 2013 to now. Ps collection on ps5 includes most of them for free

That’s 100’s of hours of entertainment right there of peak gaming

You can get all of those on any console aside from God of War, so at that point it's just whether or not you plan on playing with your squad and what consoles they have because I don't think most sports games are cross play.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with a PS5 or Series X. PS5 has better exclusives more readily available to you rn. Xbox has better overall value if you get Gamepass. PS5 prob makes more sense for you tho.
