Virgil is the Tyler Perry of fashion, you want to respect what he's accomplished and the position he's in as a black man, but the actual product that he puts out is genuinely garbage and uninspired.

at the end of the day money rules. Virgil has a certain amount of buzz that the other designers don't have even if they are better designers. Fashion is just as much a business as it is an art form.

This actually sums it up pretty well those off white belts are like the fashion equivalent of madea movies

Not to mention the many times he's been notoriously known to steal other people's work and designs.

Or how he basically got away with charging $300 for numbers printed on the back of a $40 champion hoodie. Not even reverse weave.

Only one who really deserves their fame is Martine Rose cus her own line is fire and she def deserves her Balenciaga role

love Martine Rose but I feel Samuel actually has some great designs.
Martine also was part of a great team before she went and did her own thing though.

The overall aesthetic of BT was ass to me and it felt like they were just jackin s*** for money, while I didnt like pyrex either at least some of it looked alright
