Idk man, math kind of blows my mind. My thinking’s naturally geared toward visuals, literature and abstract concepts so I’m honestly just impressed by math and people who are proficient at it.

Tbh, in a creationist view we all could say it was invented but also in the sense that it is a science, human made systematic science, mathematics. But numbers... Laws of nature etc Thats some things we 'discovered'

Clearly the concepts described by math would be there with or without humans, so it wasn't invented

But maybe you can say that the specific format of "math" that humans use was invented in order to more easily describe and predict the natural world

I’m not doubting it. I guess I understand it more than I give myself credit for; I love investing and finances and my work requires budgeting which I’m good at, I just get lost at the higher levels, I could never get a grasp of it in school but I aced math problems on tests that were put in word form.

i have an interesting relationship with colors as i am colorblind...

that's what led me to this way of thinking i think

imo invented .. i see mathematics as a framework for understanding reality rather than some in built thing that we "discovered"
