colors also take a creative mind to make work, which is surrendering yes, but also easier for most to match a house with white, grey, black things, and outfits with white grey black things. ideally a mix of all colors in all aspects of living though, as is intended in the natural world.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't extra color options more harmful for the environment with the dyes needed to be used for a lot of these materials?

    By an inconsequential amount sure

But that's not why there's less color

The logo simplification is all about being able to have the logo work on all types of media.

The High Fashion logos used to just be the design of the store fronts, but now it needs to be easily dropped on to social media posts

I definitely don't see a lot of white cars on the road.

I disagree. On social media posts, you simply need a JPEG of your logo

it aint the "wild" 50s-90s anymore, every corp knows everything they can possibly know about their potential customers. There is no more creativity because they already know the best approach to maximize revenue.

Absolute pain. Everything is becoming so f***in boring

There's no more people whose job it is is to just think of s*** and spitball, brainstorm, and prototype wild s***. To do so would be to waste time money and energy, just listen to The Data.

Its a transparent png that needs to be able to pop in any background and can easily fit in any aspect ratio.

Anything with shapes, gradients, and text directions can make that more difficult.

If that's a good reason for the simplification is up to you, but that's the reason for it

This kinda loops back into the issue of cost effectiveness (and thus time/effort effectiveness) being the bottom line for these companies and not the provision of a unique goods and service experience
