MY experiences and MY family's experiences have been subpar when it comes to law enforcement.

When a doctor of color makes a judgement call at Laguardia airport assuming I smoked weed in a bathroom I was never in and hassles me for 10 straight minutes, come back to me on that.

When a doctor inconveniences my pops while driving home one night and gives him a ticket off false pretense ("swerving") just to find out homie was just tryna fill his quota and in the process kicks both our cousins out the car and makes them have to walk the rest of the way back home (we were moving household items from storage for them, they was in the trunk), come back to me on that.

All the black doctors that helped a nigga when I was both unemployed and uninsured with my inflammed ribs at the free program in Harlem aint did a damn thing to me. Yeah, I'd much rather my kids be doctors and be a part of an industry that actually promotes health and is way more involved in the community than the niggas with guns.

One of these industries has been ACTIVELY working on bettering relations and developments in helping us stay alive. The other industry to this day still actively works on doing the exact opposite my nigga if you got no family in the force then hop off my d*** and go harass somebody else with this fake bullshit you on.

We all know the history of policing and where it comes from and how the system is designed against minorities and well poor people in general but that system is not going anywhere.
