Feels too cluttered to me tbch. I could see someone wanting 2, maybe even 3 monitors but all in one. Idk man

  • Most ultrawides are only 32-34 inches. It’s like having 2 normal-sized monitors but without the annoying bezels in the middle and one monitor is easier to manage and support.

Personally, I’m definitely getting one but there isn’t one under 2k that interests me enough yet. The predator that went on sale last black friday is probably as close as it gets to what I want but not quite. And I’d like it to do all 3 in one; stream audio, video and charge my laptop through usb-c all at once.

Having said all that, I can definitely see a niche for the super ultrawides. I’ve heard it’s great for gaming but there isn’t one with 120hz and at least 1440p yet. They’re all full of compromises.

I’ll probably upgrade from my one to a three in due time. 2 monitors seems like ass tbh, unless you have one centered and one off screen.

Watch the second video, the way dude uses it like 3 screens bugs tf out of me lmao

  • seem comfy

I wouldn’t want one for gaming tho

  • completely unneccesary unless you're rich / you make a living off working on the computer and this will benefit you some way

Useful if you multitask too. More screen real estate.

  • they're awesome for gaming imo

I use 3 27 inch monitors just cause no one makes a super ultra with the same dpi as my current setup but once someone does make one I'm going to get it

waiting for one with the ultra hi dpi plus I want 1000nits for better hdr, local dimming and a quantum dot matrix and it needs to be under $1100 so I probably gotta wait a few years, ideally I'd want it to be an oled but I feel like that maybe 5 years at this point.. oled monitors never coming
