phd in what? what you planning to do for work? congrats also!!
Thank you!! I’d like to teach at the university level and do my own research. My PhD is going to be in philosophy
2.3 cumulative because of pre med classes, 3.0 major gpa
How the f*** do i get an A- in lab but fail the class
1.8 from HS, 3.0 from CC, 3.6 from undergrad, got a 3.8 rn in grad school
Not giving a s*** in high school really prevented me from burning out ngl
Lol High school you needed at least a 2.0 to graduate. With that being said I had a 2.1
That's amazing you didn't let your high school struggle hold you back in college
honestly it's one of those things where college was a better fit all along imo. i was probably ready for uni by the time i turned 15. i pin it down to being able to choose my curriculum, professors, and overall schedule.
funnily enough my senior year of HS, i had a legitimate (but not really lol) medical excuse, started skipping class almost every day and did 90% of my work remotely sending it in to my teachers through email. my GPA shot up to like a 2.7 in my final marking period. can't argue with the results
3.4 from HS
But i did horrible freshman yr that it never recovered
My other 3 yrs without freshman yr avg was like 3.6
3.6. even if you don't fw school or give a s*** about the work, it's not really hard at all. It's just all about organization and staying on top of every assignment, i feel like for someone to have under a 2.5 they have to deliberately just be not turning in work or something lolol.
3.95
edit:3.95 after i went back i my mid 20s, 2.8 when i went right out of hs
truly believe that you do better in college later in life after you figure out why you are there
better to wait a few years and take it seriously then go right out of hs and f*** it all up and waste time
This 100%
I graduated uni with a 2.8 despite having really good grades in high school and cégep (regional university here in my region) I eventually got into a top university and didn’t know what or why I was doing there, and my grades suffered as a result.
I managed to pick it up in the last year and a half I was studying, but the damage had unfortunately already been done, so my cgpa stuck at 2.8 but my cgpa in the last 2 years of study is at 3.32
I’m older and more mature now and I’m about to get back into a certificate program while working full time to boost up my grades to make everything look better for grad school, gonna get straight A’s because I have a vision and I will accomplish It
3.95

Agreed I was terrible my first 4 years and now that I'm back it's straight As
Wasted so much time from 18 to 22 doing terrible in school
Mfs like me was feeling dumb af in high school until attending an average ass state school in college where you find out most mfs at your university are dumber than you are.
I finished my freshman year of hs with a 1.0 though, I was lazy and ended up depressed because of my grades, which made me even more lazy. Took a bunch of hard ass AP classes and got it up a whole point, wasn’t much but I was happy with it
2.16 in HS.
Was always smart, but after depression started happening I just didnt care about school anymore.
Which I could go back and do it right, but it is what it is
