Do you have consistent income? I'd say get something from Best Buy with Paypal Pay in 4. Say you find the perfect monitor for 400. You only need to pay 100 upfront then 3 more payments bi weekly. You aren't dropping 2-300 at once, you get the item upfront, & you can space the payments out.

I have the common IPS issue, some white from the edges. It's not a big issue unless you're playing something dark
Other than that no issues

can series x even run 144hz?
idk what the newest xbox is cause the names are confusing as f*** but i wouldn't get a high refresh rate if the console has a cap on it. also, unless you're literally playing competitive cod a 5ms response time is fine.
also get an ips panel if you want the game to look good (vibrant colours) and tn if you want the best performance - you're going to have a more washed out image with tn though

Xbox can run 1440p at 120fps but only on a few monitors cuz the others can only do it through display port
Your two options are:
The Samsung Odyssey G7
And MSI Optix MAG274RF-QD
The MSI is on newegg for 369.
