I got trials or cheap starts to so many
right now I got
Tidal- Comes with sprint. Has great curated Playlist by elliot wilson but lacks social features I would want
Apple Music- Amazing social features and now with lossless it snaps. They sometimes a little late on music releases though. Apple Radio premieres or streams also slaps
Spotify( dollar for 3 months)- Apparently has amazing social features and curating but something about me cant get into the app fully
Youtube Premium- A must especially if you can get a family plan or student deal. Ability to listen to anything without looking at app. I listen to live music a lot, news etc
Soundcloud(I like remixes and they really good algorithm on finding new music)- These remixes and mash ups be slapping
lol I like having multiple but want to know what yall consistently use
sound quality on amazon music good too but I do like social features and seeing other people playlist
I use Spotify and Apple Music both pretty regularly.
I love Spotify for its playlists mostly, tons of fantastic playlists out there that have put my onto some great music during my tenure with it. Plus the podcasts on there are great, haven’t seen many like it on AM. Also automatically scrobbles to LastFM, which AM doesn’t support for some reason.
Apple Music I use for the radio feature, wouldn’t be caught dead missing a Memento Mori episode which has also put me onto some incredible music. Also music videos readily available, and sound quality is great if you’ve got a good pair of headphones to go along with it.
Haven’t tried other services besides Tidal, but I didn’t love the UI and playlisting on that was pretty rancid IIRC.
Tidals best feature is producer credits
Why theyre the only streaming service w that feature i dont f***ing know. its stupid everyone should have that in 2021
Apple music is the best imo, especially w local files
This is the main reason I have apple music. Being able to upload local files and incorporate them into playlists is an amazing feature

Like I wish they would challenge each other more so that it was all easier. There is no excuse that there isnt cross platform following of playlist so I can follow someone on tidal, apple music, spotify and see the same playlist if the songs exist in all locations

Currently my PC is s***ted until I do some things so all my local files I cant access which is why I use so many streaming services

Crazy how i never thought of cross platform playlists, its definitely hella possible to do with upc codes

In this case id probably say youtube music for now, and then when u can get local files booming again on the pc hop over to AM
Spotify 💪💪
Deezer
things deezer are good for
1) deemix

I dont mind having both. I just wish social features on all were going crazier to see what friends are listening too or if we could have statuses like "wow just heard this album recommend to you guys' kind of thing like basic like myspace
Spotify the overall best imo, but Apple Music solid
Why yall love Spotify so much I feel like I am missing something
Like the ability to listen to live music and unreleased music and remixes on youtube is so unparalleled
I can be like "I need Kanye Sydney performance of runaway" specifically and boom
Why yall love Spotify so much I feel like I am missing something
Personally I fw the playlists and recommendations a lot better than any other music service I’ve used, example discovery weekly, release radar, etc. I’d discover so much heat regularly based on what I listen to/like, like you mentioned the social aspects (a lot of my friends and co workers use Spotify), the interface for me is a lot better than most, Last.fm support, other things like Spotify connect & Handoff, overall it just works better for me I’ve also had Spotify since like 2012 or probably even longer

The UX of queuing music is a million times better than AM

I dont really be Queing like that because I either come to listen to a full album or a one song then my mind like "oooo who dropped something new " or "I feel like that song"
