Last night I dreamt that my tooth got knocked out, and I was waiting at a dentistry. Another dentist comes in and says not to use this denistry and go to theirs instead.

    Then I wake up.

    What?

You're probably not a trusting person, or you're easily persuaded. Dreams are your mind's way of communicating things to you, including your own subconscious feelings. The language is symbolism and visual metaphors.

Last night I had a dream that I made a fire KTT thread that I worked on for hours, but then I accidentally hit close instead of post and somehow refreshed the page so it was all gone.

First time I ever woke up from a dream screaming.

I like to believe they are symbolic and represent some part of your unconscious self.

I smoke a lot of weed though and almost never dream so idk.

Could all be total random bs.

Oh I didn’t realize Op had a specific example

I used to have dreams of teeth falling out too and I guess it’s somewhat common. I’ve heard that it’s a sign of loss or going through important life changes.

Dreams about losing teeth usually mean you feel like you don’t have control in your life or that you’re losing control of a situation

    What?

it's your subconscious mind connecting to your conscious mind.
It's also preparation, your mind is literally running through different situations in order to ready you for when they actually happen.

some dreams just ur mind f***ing around with memories and scenarios, some of them are for emotional balance. gives you catharsis by presenting you with situations u need to face.

i remember reading about how it is basically forced exposure therapy.
